Het Marienpoel Hotel Leiden is een nieuw hotel met een karakteristieke sfeer.
Het pand "Jugendstil " stijl gebouwd door de architect H.J.Jesse dateert uit 1907, voldoet aan alle eisen van de moderne tijd en is brandbeveiligd. De geslaagde renovatie (2001) heeft het klassieke karakter in tact gelaten waardoor een mooie combinatie van functie en stijl is ontstaan. Het Marienpoel Hotel op de hoek van de Marienpoelstraat en de Rijnsburgerweg heeft een toepasselijke naam, omdat er tegenover ooit, in de Middeleeuwen het Marienpoel klooster stond.
Het hotel ligt op loopafstand van het Centrum, Centraal Station, het Bio-Sciencepark, de Universiteit alsmede het Leids Universitair Medisch Centrum (LUMC).

?Jugendstil? was the style architect H.J. Jesse chose to embrace in his design of this building which was constructed in 1907. Now the building meets all the requirements of modern times and has full fire protection. Successful renovations in 2001 resulted in an impressive combination of function and style while the classic character of the building was preserved. The Marienpoel Hotel, on the corner of the Marienpoelstraat and the Rijnsburgerweg, owes its name to the medieval Marienpoel monastery that once stood opposite.
The hotel is within walking distance of the town centre, Central Station, the Bio-Science park and the University as well as the Leiden University Medical Centre (LUMC).
Also within easy reach are the cities Amsterdam, The Hague and Rotterdam and the cheerful seaside resorts Katwijk, Noordwijk and Scheveningen.
